Flashchat does not seem to be loading, connection goes through and the flashchat module seems to go through the loading sequence but then just stops with a blank screen. Seemed to hit about 3 hours or so ago, kicked out the users that were in and stopped anyone going in.
Might just need to be restarted or something when you get a tick?

There's no such thing as "restarting" it. If it's not working then I need to try and figure out why. Pending on the why, will determine when I can get it going again. I don't know anything about flash programing so I'll look for some support articles and see what I come up with.

Well it's working again this morning. I checked a few things last night and couldn't see any errors and called it a night. Thankfully it's just back today. The server might have been under load last night or something, hard to know.

Unfortunately, the software doesn't really have any tech support any more so when something goes wrong, there's not much I can do about it. I'm not a programmer so I can only check things on my side like the admin panel and such.

Anyway, it's back up so that's what counts. Heh

I don't know why its happening but, when I try to go into flash chat it loads everything correctly. Even the other users in the room. I can hear sound effects including when people are saying something in main chat. The problem is I cannot see any text or type any text. I can open up a PM window but, I cannot type anything to anyone. I went in and out a few times then, reinstalled my flash player and, nothing worked. any ideas? Lemme know thanks.

Ensure that your webbrowser window is set to normal zoom.
Depending on your browser this is most often located in the page menu under zoom, make sure it is set to 100% or "normal" (again depending on your browser). Flash has a text input issue if the page size has been altered at all.

I checked the zoom its set on normal in google chrome and I also tried internet explorer. Neither worked unfortunetly.

I also tried logging in and out of DDD. As well as, restarting and updating my pc. Still same problem. So I downloaded and installed firefox which i don't usually use just as a test and still nothing.

Sometimes this worked when people had problems using the chat.
