Ok, I know that you’ve probably
nosed briefly through the site, saw the things that I generally had to
say about how there are real vampires, and that piqued your curiosity.
You’re thinking it’s a good idea to drop me an email and question
me with all your thoughts.
No.
Not a good idea. I have an EXTENSIVE
site here with tons of information on all aspects of vampirism that
you need to read first. I have worked very hard over the last
four years to make it useable for all with broad information both
casual and more in depth research/theory. If you’re new to it all or
you’ve been a vampire for years, there’s something here for you.
I'm sorry but I just can't personally reply to
emails any longer. Unless it's a technical issue you need to report,
I just do NOT have the time nor energy to reply to inquires any
longer. Please register for
the forum and ask
your question there. There are many people on the boards who can
give you good information and help you with more specific questions
you may have. Before you write me, please consider
the following first.
1) Did you read everything??
Chances are, if it’s a basic question, it’s been answered. Check
the FAQ’s
before you write. That covers the most general and common
queries I get. Also, if you’re confused what is real and what is
not, read the Vampire
Guides 101/201. Also, if you have
read EVERYTHING and still have a question, register an account on
the forum and ask
it there. It's the best way to get interactive discussion on the
subject.
2) Is it just a general comment?
If you just want to tell me that you liked it, while I appreciate
that, it’s not something I can really get back to everyone on
personally. Know that all emails are read but very few do I have the
time to reply to. (so please don't email me back asking why I didn't
reply) I do when I can and I do what I can, ok?
3) Are you asking to be
turned, made, or sired?
Just stop right now. Don’t even bother. I don’t care how much you want it, how
noble your cause is, how much you think you’re supposed to be a
vampire, the answer is always NO. That’s NOT negotiable.
4) Do you think you might be a
vampire (or otherkin) for _____ reason?
The answer is I have no
idea. None. I can't tell you anything about who or what you are.
Only you can know that. Don't tell me your symptoms or how you like
the color black and hate sunlight...I can't tell you anything. No,
really. This is the internet and I don't know you. If you want to
discuss your thoughts, stop by the
forum.
Read up and interact but don't ever let someone tell you who or what
you are.
5) Are you asking for personal
information on me?
All the information about me personally that I am willing to share,
is already online. Check out the Bio
Sorry, but as I’ve said, I am a real person and I value my
privacy.
6) Do you want to do an interview/documentary/writing a paper,
book, etc.?
I'm sorry, I'm just not interested in being interviewed for any
reason these days. I really want to distance myself from the site.
I'm always only associated with it and honestly? I'm tired of just
being "that crazy chick who runs that crazy site." I've never done
any tv interviews and I'm not going to start now. I also don't want
to do phone ones, nor ones for books, magazines or related. I
appreciate the interest but I'm just not interested at this time.
7) Do you want to connect with people/Are you looking for
someone/Do you just want to chat with like-minded people?
Then stop by the
forum.
Not only do I join in on the discussions, but there are thousands of
other people who are on 24/7 and there’s always things to talk
about. (ranging from Real vampires, fictional vampires, a classified
& seeking, to poetry, to bitches/rants, etc.
8) Are you just writing to bitch?
If you are just trying to “save” me, telling me I’m going to
burn in hell, insult me, or some such, then just don’t bother. I
assure you they get promptly deleted. And if you’re ignorant
enough to threaten me, know that I WILL forward it to your ISP. An
internet threat is legally as serious as a personal threat. Might
want to think before you do something stupid which could cause
anything from losing your internet connection to you facing legal
prosecution. I don’t play games, so you don’t either.
